The 7th International Symposium on Objective Measures in Auditory Implants will be organized in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in September 2012, thereby continuing the longstanding tradition of a meeting, where numerous interesting topics concerning auditory implants are addressed and participants are inspired for new research. The 7th International symposium is hosted by the University Medical Centers of Leiden and Nijmegen and is focused on objective measures in the field of electrical stimulation of the auditory system, carrying on a tradition which has proven to be successful on many occasions before. Both clinical and fundamental aspects will be addressed. New developments in imaging, recording and stimulation of the auditory system will be highlighted, with special attention for the latest insights beyond the auditory periphery.
